The Nonotuck Community School, Inc. is a nonprofit child care and early education center run with the cooperative effort of its member families. The school opened in September 1977 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Northampton in order to serve a growing community need for quality child care and education. From October 2000 to December 2004 the school was located at the VA Medical Center in Leeds. In January 2005, Nonotuck moved to its current location at the Feiker Building at 221 Riverside Drive in Northampton. Nonotuck provides programs to approximately 50 children aged 15 months to 5 years and is licensed by the state Department of Early Education and Care.
